PokerNews gives away a second seat to the PGT Championship at the RGPS Dream Factory series

The RunGood Poker Series Dream Factory at Thunder Valley has become even more significant: PokerNews has added a second entry to the prestigious PGT Championship tournament.

This year, the RunGood Poker Series Dream Factory at Thunder Valley Casino Resort becomes even more significant for players, as PokerNews has announced the addition of a second seat to the prestigious PokerGO Tour (PGT) Championship final event. Now, the winners of two special tournaments in the series will have a unique chance to compete for a spot in the elite PokerGO event, where the world’s strongest players gather. Two Seats to the PGT Championship: New Opportunities for RGPS Champions As part of the Dream Factory at Thunder Valley Casino Resort (Lincoln, California), two exclusive tournaments with a $300 buy-in each will take place from November 27 to December 3, 2026: the RunGood Winner's Circle (December 1) and the RunGood Dream Seat Invitational (December 2). Only holders of official RGPS championship rings from the 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 seasons can participate—this is a special reward for success at series stops. Previously, the winner of the Dream Seat Invitational already received a seat to the PGT Championship, and now PokerNews is sponsoring an additional spot for the Winner's Circle champion. Thus, both tournaments will give their winners the opportunity to play in the PGT Championship—one of the most prestigious events of the year at PokerGO Studio. In addition to the main prize, both tournaments will award extra prizes: 1st place — seat to the PGT Championship 2nd place — $600 ticket to the Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship 3rd place — $400 ticket to the PokerNews Cup Both tournaments start at 11:00 AM local time: Winner's Circle on Tuesday, December 1, and Dream Seat Invitational on Wednesday, December 2. Each will bring together champions from the last four RGPS seasons, guaranteeing a high level of play and excitement right up to the final table. RunGood Winner's Circle: Not Just a Tournament, but a Show The RunGood Winner's Circle will kick off the series on December 1. In addition to the main tournament, all participants will have an extra opportunity—the chance to take part in the special RunGood "Compete for the Seat" Gameshow. This entertainment event will take place that evening at the players’ party in the Illusions bar inside Thunder Valley Casino Resort. The show will feature an additional $6,000 in prizes, making participation in the Winner's Circle especially attractive for all RGPS ring holders. The show’s format includes interactive contests and giveaways, where every tournament participant can win an extra prize. Dream Seat Invitational and the PokerNews PowerStack Leaderboard The second key tournament—the Dream Seat Invitational—will be held on December 2. It will include not only RGPS champions but also players who qualified via the PokerNews PowerStack leaderboard. This ranking system was launched for the RGPS 2026 fall season: players earned points by participating in special PowerStack events throughout the series. After the season ends, the top ten players on the leaderboard will receive a package that includes: entry to the Dream Seat Invitational ($300) $300 travel stipend two nights’ accommodation at Thunder Valley Casino Resort For many, this will be their first experience playing in such a prestigious tournament, and a win will open the door to the PGT Championship. PowerStack was first introduced at the start of 2026, when the top 11 players received seats to the $1,200 Million Dollar Main Event at the RGPS Passport season finale. This time, the reward is even more valuable: the Dream Seat Invitational winner will not only receive cash prizes but also a chance to prove themselves at the highest level of the PokerGO Tour. Dream Factory at Thunder Valley: A Return and New Prospects The RunGood Poker Series Dream Factory is one of the most anticipated RGPS stops, traditionally held at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. In 2026, it will once again bring together the best players who have won championship rings at RGPS stops over the past four seasons. The addition of a second seat to the PGT Championship significantly increases motivation for all participants. Now, every RGPS champion has two chances to join the world poker elite—and both are available over two consecutive days. PokerNews will provide live text coverage of both tournaments so fans can follow the action and cheer for their favorites in real time. For many players, participating in the Dream Factory is not only a chance to win big prizes but also an opportunity to make a name for themselves nationally by earning an invitation to PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.
