The XL Autumn Series 2026 is coming to an end at 888poker. Don’t miss your chance to win in the Mystery Main Event and Mystery Mini Main Event — the final tournaments are coming soon!

In the last days of September, the major online series XL Autumn Series 2026 is coming to an end on the 888poker platform. Players are still focused on the two main tournaments: the Mystery Mini Main Event and the Mystery Main Event , which have yet to crown their champions. Both events are wrapping up the series, and participants have only a few chances left to reach the final stages. Final Events of the Series: Mystery Main Event and Mystery Mini Main Event The main tournament of the series — the Mystery Main Event with a $250 buy-in and a $300,000 guarantee — is entering its final stretch. Only three starting days (flights) remain, kicking off on September 28 at 13:00, 15:00, and 18:00 British Summer Time (BST). After the last flights finish, all players who make it to Day 2 will gather at the virtual tables at 21:30 BST, where play will continue until the final table of eight is formed. At the time of publication, 1,072 players had registered for the tournament, and 129 of them had already secured a spot in Day 2. Nearly 1,300 entries are needed to meet the guarantee, but given the average turnout — 46 players per each of the 23 completed flights — the organizers are likely to face an overlay (a situation where the guaranteed prize pool exceeds the total buy-ins collected). 888poker is offering satellites to this tournament for as little as $0.10, available throughout September 28. Running alongside is the Mystery Mini Main Event with a $25 buy-in and a $50,000 guarantee. About 2,200 entries are needed to cover the guarantee. So far, 1,716 players have registered, and 204 have advanced to Day 2. The last three flights start on September 28 at 14:00, 16:00, and 18:00 BST, with Day 2 beginning at 21:30 BST. The average number of players per flight is 71, which also points to a possible overlay. Both tournaments use the Mystery Bounty format, where part of the prize pool is distributed as random rewards for knocking out opponents, adding an element of surprise and extra motivation for aggressive play. Results of Completed XL Autumn Series 2026 Tournaments Of the 41 scheduled tournaments in the series, 33 events have already finished, including the prestigious $1,050 Super High Roller . Although 888poker is not known for regular high buy-in tournaments, this event attracted 37 participants. They played for a $40,000 prize pool, and the winner was the player with the nickname OMGTHATEDGE , who took home the top prize of $13,680. This is the largest payout of the series so far. Special mention goes to the player KITCHEN_TE9 , who became a two-time champion of the XL Autumn Series 2026. First, he won the $320 Super KO High Roller and received $2,889, then added another victory in the $320 DeepStack High Roller with a prize of $3,415. Payout Table for the $1,050 Super High Roller 1st place: OMGTHATEDGE — $13,680 Prize pool: $40,000 Total participants: 37 The other prize places and participant names were not disclosed in the original material. Remaining XL Autumn Series 2026 Tournaments The XL Autumn Series 2026 concludes on September 29, and only eight tournaments remain on the schedule before the final day, in addition to the two main events. The exact names and start times of all remaining tournaments are listed on the 888poker website, and the schedule allows players to choose the format and buy-in that suits them best. Players can take advantage of the last opportunities to make it into the tournament prizes, as well as participate in satellites with minimal investment. Organizers emphasize that, due to the likelihood of overlays in the main tournaments, participation becomes especially profitable for players — the value of each entry increases. Features of the Mystery Bounty and PKO Formats Both main tournaments of the series use the popular Mystery Bounty format. In this format, part of the prize pool is allocated to random rewards, which are drawn among players who knock out others. The size of each reward is unknown in advance — it could be a minimum amount or a large "jackpot." This approach makes the game more dynamic and adds a lottery element, attracting both recreational players and experienced regulars. The PKO (Progressive Knockout) format, which was also featured in several series tournaments, differs in that when a player knocks out an opponent, they receive part of the bounty immediately, while the other part increases their own "head" (bounty), making them a more attractive target for others. Both formats encourage an aggressive style of play and increase the number of multi-way hands. Quick Facts about the XL Autumn Series and 888poker XL Autumn Series is an annual online tournament series on the 888poker platform, which traditionally attracts a large number of participants thanks to its variety of formats and buy-ins. 888poker is known for being accessible to players with all bankroll sizes and offers a wide range of satellites, allowing players to enter even the biggest tournaments with minimal expense. This year, the series once again drew attention thanks to large guarantees, unique formats, and the chance to win significant prizes for relatively small investments. What This Means for PPPoker Club Players For PPPoker club members, the XL Autumn Series 2026 experience on 888poker is a great example of how modern tournament formats (Mystery Bounty, PKO) make the game more exciting and rewarding for a wide audience. Club organizers can take note of the popularity of these formats and incorporate them into their schedules to attract more players and boost interest in regular events. The opportunity to enter a major tournament through satellites with minimal buy-ins is another trend worth adopting on the PPPoker platform. Running qualifiers with small entry fees helps expand the player pool and gives even beginners a shot at a big win. Finally, the overlay situation in the main XL Autumn Series tournaments shows that sometimes participating in major events becomes especially profitable: the prize pool ends up being higher than the total buy-ins collected, increasing the value of each entry. PPPoker club players should watch for such opportunities and choose tournaments that offer the best value for them.
